TRITONAL:

Emerging from relative obscurity in early 2007, in just a few short years Tritonal has become one of the most recognizable names on the modern trance and progressive world stage. Both exceptional talents in their own right, Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed formed a prolific music production partnership from opposite ends of the United States which exceeded all expectations and proved to be a creative match made in heaven.

JEROME ISMA-AE:

Hailing from Munich, Jerome Isma-Ae is one of the highest-selling, most successful Prog HouseDJ/producers of the last 3 years. He is reinventing and designing the sounds since the early years of EDM. Building, combining, releasing and holding on to a continuously sharp sound, fit for both timelessness and the current demands of the dance floor society. German producer/DJ Jerome Isma-Ae sure kept himself  busy over the past 15 years. But results are showing. With the characteristic Isma-Ae sound on his side, requested and praised by many, he’s got the best weapon there is: the ability to stand out. Mind you, it’s a weapon he won’t hesitate to use.

Philippine Team - 2012 London Olympics

Philippine Team – 2012 London Olympics

The Philippines first sent athletes to compete at the Olympic Games in 1924, making it the first Country to compete and win a medal in Southeast Asia. The nation has competed at every Summer Olympic Games since then, except when they participated in the American-led boycott of the 1980 Summer Olympics. Filipino athletes have also competed at the Winter Olympic Games on three different occasions since 1972, but not since 1994. The Philippines is the first nation in the tropics to ever participate in the Winter Olympic Games.

Filipino athletes have won a total of nine Olympic medals, with boxing as the top medal-producing sport. With Mongolia winning its first gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics, the Philippines now holds the record for the most medals without a gold.

Good luck to our Filipino athletes to the London 2012 Olympics

Social Media Day 2012

Social Media Day 2012

Asia dominates the world’s biggest social networking markets according to research from blog 24/7 Wall Street who compiled a list of countries where Facebook penetration (usage per population) is highest.  The Philippines topped the list with  Facebook at 93.9%, Twitter at 16.1%, LinkedIn at 1.9%, and Internet Use at 29.7%.

Social network penetration is incredibly high in the Philippines, reaching 95%.  Facebook is the country’s most popular website, more so than Google, and has a penetration rate of 93.9%.  The Philippines is also the eighth most popular country for Twitter use on a global scale, with a penetration rate of 16.1%.  The popularity of photo sharing has increased by 46% in the country in one year, largely due to Facebook.  Social networking is so popular among Filipinos, the country has been nicknamed “The Social Networking Capital of the World.”

This year definitely is an exciting year for the Philippines in terms of Social Media in general.  Lately, I’ve been very busy attending industry events representing my company (Visual Ally) and every event is a blast.  Meeting new people and networking with possible partners and clients is something I really enjoy doing.  I’m excited for tomorrow’s event and hope to meet the people I interact with on a regular basis online but this time in the flesh.

So if you’re curios like me… join me!
